RASHEED STEPHENS is an award-winning filmmaker, actor, and stand-up comedian. Born and raised in the inner cities of Atlanta, Georgia, Rasheed's upbringing deeply informs his creative voice, blending humor, grit, and emotional authenticity.
Rasheed moved to Los Angeles in 2012, where he immersed himself in the entertainment industry and built a multifaceted career as an award-winning director, writer, producer, actor, and stand-up comedian. His work often explores identity, resilience, and community, balancing grounded, character-driven storytelling with incisive comedy.
As an actor, Rasheed has appeared in the hit HBO series Insecure, and has starred in multiple feature films including Coffee & Cabbage, Induced Effect, and Between Forever, further showcasing his range across dramatic and comedic storytelling.
His feature film All I’ve Got & Then Some premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival, where it received critical acclaim and went on to win the Grand Jury Prize at the Florida Film Festival, along with additional festival honors. Rasheed is also the director and co-writer of East Point, a feature inspired by his real-life experiences growing up in Atlanta, further cementing his reputation for authentic, socially rooted storytelling.
