ALL I'VE GOT & THEN SOME, which also premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival to critical acclaim. As a director, writer, and producer, his storytelling is known for its emotional authenticity, grounded characters, and sharp balance of drama and humor.

His latest feature, LOST IN THE MOMENT, is set to stream on a major platform in June 2026, marking a significant milestone in his continued rise as a filmmaker.

Born and raised in the inner cities of Atlanta, Georgia, Stephens draws heavily from his lived experiences, crafting narratives that explore identity, resilience, and community.

After relocating to Los Angeles in 2012, he built a multifaceted career across film and television. His acting credits include the HBO series Insecure, along with feature films such as COFFEE & CABBAGE, INDUCED EFFECT, and BETWEEN FOREVER, showcasing his range across both dramatic and comedic roles.
 

Stephens also directed and co-wrote EAST POINT, a feature inspired by his upbringing in Atlanta, further solidifying his voice as a filmmaker committed to authentic, socially rooted storytelling.
